I am very glad to represent on behalf of "Andaman Nadar Uravinmurai Sangam" Which was started in Andaman & Nicobar islands on 17th November 1977 with the liberal bestowment of the stakeholder. Subsequently its inception the “Andaman Nadar Uravinmurai Sangam” has developed in a rapid manner under the leadership of our eminent &one of the founder of the Sangam “ Late. Thiru. S. Vijyarajan”.

The erstwhile management committee during that period in the general body meeting of the sangam discussed over an agenda on establishing an educational institution” in the land owned by the sangam at Aberdeen Bazaar to cope up with the ideology of our great leader & former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Bharat Rathna Shri. K.Kamaraj. Finally, it was anonymously decided to construct a school and giving a good platform and gateway for quality education to the students of these Emerald Islands.

Consequently, the“KAMARAJ ENGLISH MEDIUM SCHOOL”was established at Aberdeen Bazaar, Port Blair by the “Andaman Nadar Uravin Murai Sangam on4th July 1993 with 24 students &3 staffs. Now, student strength is around 1800.

The Andaman Nadar Uravin Murai Sangam has felt necessary to have transport facility of own for students of KAMARAJ ENGLISH MEDIUM SCHOOL, resulting in the year 2002we deployed a single bus in its fleet. As the time progress we have achieved in deploying 14 Nos. school buses and one LMV Bolero that cater the needs of the students connecting all residential areas of the students to the KAMARAJ ENGLISH MEDIUM SCHOOL for safe and comfortable transportation.

We the management of KAMARAJ ENGLISH MEDIUM SCHOOL having great satisfaction in running and management of KAMARAJ ENGLISH MEDIUM SCHOOL which is one of the great learning destination in the island and catering quality education to the all students across the society and fulfilling the ideology of our great leader BhratRathnaShri. K.Kamaraj

It gives me immense pleasure that our school KAMARAJ ENGLISH MEDIUM SCHOOL is stepping into 28th years of service to the society. In order to remark it has been decided to celebrate the Silver Jubilee celebration in a grand and meaningful manner. Finally, I would like to convey to all that the Management of Kamaraj English Medium School, Port Blair is committed to cater good & quality education to all aspirants across the society and empower them in all aspects.
